Roma, 27 settembre 2021 – Una giornata per promuovere lo sport per persone disabili e valorizzarne la funzione formativa e sociale. Sono questi gli obiettivi della Giornata regionale dello Sport Paralimico che si terrà il prossimo 1 ottobre e a cui parteciperà il Presidente regionale ANMIL del Lazio, Alberto Verzulli. L’evento è organizzato dal Comitato Regionale CIP del Lazio e si svolgerà dalle 9.30 alle 13.00 nel Centro di Preparazione Paralimpica Tre Fontane, a Roma.
L’idea è quella di realizzare una grande palestra multidisciplinare a cielo aperto e trasmettere così il messaggio che lo sport può essere praticato da tutti indistintamente. L’evento sarà diviso in due parti: una fase dimostrativa in cui, grazie al contributo di tecnici e atleti paralimpici delle varie Federazioni e discipline che hanno aderito all’evento, si metteranno in campo tutte le conoscenze delle varie discipline sportive, e una fase pratica in cui gli assistiti INAIL, gli utenti delle Unità Spinali, i veterani potranno sperimentare la loro disciplina preferita utilizzando supporti idonei messi a diposizione.
In questo modo tutti avranno la percezione che attraverso lo sport è possibile superare gli ostacoli e iniziare un percorso che può portare a dei risultati non solo in termini agonistici ma anche personali e umani.
