Per rimarcare la priorità che la salute e la sicurezza sul lavoro rappresentano per il nostro Paese e le nuove generazioni.
Roma, 8 ottobre 2020 – Sotto l’Alto Patronato del Presidente della Repubblica e con il Patrocinio della Rai, che ha inteso garantire il pieno sostegno delle testate giornalistiche, si celebra il prossimo 11 ottobre la Giornata Nazionale per le Vittime degli Incidenti sul Lavoro sebbene quest’anno le misure antiCovid ci costringano a contenere fortemente le manifestazioni che da sempre organizziamo su tutto il territorio.
A Roma, per presentare la Giornata si tiene una speciale conferenza stampa giovedì 8 ottobre, dalle ore 10.30 alle 12.30, al Teatro De’ Servi (in Via del Mortaro, 22 – Angolo Via del Tritone) alla quale interverranno: la Ministra del Lavoro, Nunzia Catalfo; il Presidente dell’ANMIL, Zoello Forni; il Presidente dell’INAIL, Franco Bettoni; Roberto Natale della RAI per il Sociale e 5 testimonianze di vittime del lavoro.
Queste storie emblematiche saranno al centro della conferenza stampa per mettere in luce quanto sia inadeguata la tutela ad esse riservata dal Testo Unico infortuni – che risale al 1965 – e che lascia fuori da ogni tutela alcune categorie di familiari e stretti congiunti, non prevedendo alcun supporto psicologico e non garantendo un effettivo reinserimento lavorativo.
Ma, allo stesso tempo, con le manifestazioni che si svolgeranno in tutta Italia vogliamo sottolineare quanto sia importante mettere la sicurezza sul lavoro al primo posto, la cui mancanza è causa di infortuni e malattie professionali sempre evitabili e prevedibili. L’evento sarà trasmesso in diretta streaming attraverso il canale ANMIL su YouTube e sulla pagina Facebook dell’Associazione.
“Per questa 70ª Giornata vogliamo rimarcare che la salute e la sicurezza sul lavoro sono una priorità per il futuro del nostro Paese e per le nuove generazioni – dichiara il Presidente ANMIL nazionale Zoello Forni – in un momento storico in cui l’incertezza e la preoccupazione per il futuro sono diventate una costante soprattutto a fronte dell’epidemia legata al Coronavirus che ha rafforzato la crisi economica già in essere e che ha avuto riflessi negativi a livello sociale e, di conseguenza, sull’andamento del fenomeno infortunistico”.
“La Giornata per le Vittime del Lavoro – sottolinea il Presidente dell’ANMIL – rappresenta un’importante occasione per riflettere e programmare le azioni più efficaci da intraprendere per contrastare gli infortuni sul lavoro e le malattie professionali. Noi come ANMIL siamo pronti a fare la nostra parte e dare il massimo supporto per promuovere la cultura della prevenzione, ma questa lotta agli incidenti si vince solo operando tutti con un medesimo obiettivo: il rispetto della salute e della vita dei lavoratori”.
