Roma, 10 novembre 2021 – Domenica 11 ottobre u.s. l’Anmil ha celebrato a Bergamo la 71^ Giornata Nazionale per le Vittime degli incidenti sul lavoro.
“Una giornata importante – sottolinea Giampaolo Maccarini, Presidente dell’Associazione Nazionale fra lavoratori Mutilati e Invalidi del Lavoro di Bergamo – per noi che ci battiamo contro gli infortuni sul lavoro e cerchiamo di far aumentare la consapevolezza e la cultura, andando anche a fare formazione nelle scuole per fare in modo che i giovani siano attenti e responsabili sui luoghi di lavoro”.
“Giornate come questa – continua il Vicepresidente Nazionale Anmil Luigi Feliciani – diventano anche occasione per ritrovarci e far rete anche con le istituzioni: perché per poter abbattere questo triste fenomeno serve il coinvolgimento di tutti.
Anche quest’anno la cerimonia è stata organizzata nella maniera più sobria e semplice possibile, invitando esclusivamente i membri del consiglio territoriale e le autorità civili: erano presenti oltre ai consiglieri anmil, Viceprefetto Vicario dott. Roberto Bolognesi, Presidente del consiglio comunale: ing. Ferruccio Rota, Consigliere Provincia di Bergamo: Marco Redolfi, per il Questore: Commissario della Polizia di Stato dott. La giornata è iniziata con la Santa Messa nella chiesa di Santa Croce nel quartiere della Malpensata, celebrata dal parroco don Claudio del Monte, che durante l’omelia ha ricordato che “recentemente ci sono stati addirittura 4 o 5 morti in un solo giorno. Oggi siamo qui per ricordare tutti questi caduti”
Dopo la Santa Messa i partecipanti hanno deposto una corona d’alloro al Monumento delle Vittime del lavoro, dove il presidente Anmil Giampaolo Maccarini ha letto un messaggio. “Siamo qui per ricordare – è uno dei passaggi – i nostri amici, familiari e colleghi che hanno sacrificato la propria vita e la propria salute sul lavoro. A loro si aggiungono purtroppo ogni giorno nuove vittime con una frequenza che è diventata impossibile ignorare. Non possiamo restare fermi e oggi chiediamo a gran voce che si faccia qualcosa di più per fermare questa piaga vergognosa”
