BRUSCHI (ANMIL): SGOMENTO E RABBIA PER L’ENNESIMO INCIDENTE SUL LAVORO A MASSA CARRARA, SOLO ULTIMA DI UNA LUNGA SERIE
Massa Carrara, 22 luglio 2021 – “Assistiamo con profondo sgomento a tragedie nei luoghi di lavoro sempre prevedibili e ingiustificate – dichiara il Presidente ANMIL di Massa Carrara, Paolo Bruschi, la notizia del grave infortunio ad Avenza (Massa e Carrara) di ieri, che ha causato la morte del cinquantenne Daniele Rebecchi a causa di un volo di 15 metri nell’allestimento di alcuni pannelli per un lucernaio – che dimostra quanto sia ancora lontana l’era della sicurezza negli ambienti di lavoro. La mancanza di verifiche tecniche nella costruzione e manutenzione delle strutture, la scarsa adozione di misure collettive ed individuali di protezione e la carenza di ispezioni e controlli nei luoghi di lavoro, stanno generando una situazione di fronte alla quale non è possibile restare indifferenti. E infine è indispensabile che la formazione dei lavoratori sia sempre effettiva è adeguata. Purtroppo, con la ripresa economica, sono tornati ad aumentare infortuni e morti sul lavoro e non vorremmo che fossero proprio i lavoratori a farne le spese”.
Secondo gli ultimi Open Data INAIL, in Toscana nel periodo gennaio-maggio 2021 le denunce d’infortunio sul lavoro sono state 219.262 registrando un aumento del 5,7% rispetto allo stesso intervallo di tempo nel 2020 (207.472), mentre 23 sono state quelle con esito mortale a fronte delle 22 del 2020. Dati fra i quali si inseriscono quelli della provincia di Massa Carrara dove, nel 2021, nello stesso periodo, l’INAIL ha raccolto ben 854 denunce di infortunio di cui 2 casi mortali. Invece parlando di dati consolidati, nel 2020 in Toscana gli infortuni sono stati 40.674 e quelli mortali ben 63, mentre sempre lo scorso anno a Massa Carrara gli infortuni sono stati 2.387 mentre quelli mortali 2”.
“Per questo chiediamo con forza al Parlamento e al Governo che la salute e la sicurezza nei luoghi di lavoro vengano inserite tra le priorità dell’agenda istituzionale – aggiunge il Presidente dell’ANMIL – e, in particolare riteniamo che le iniziative in merito si traducano nell’investimento di adeguate risorse per la diffusione e per il rispetto della prevenzione. Quanto al potenziamento dei controlli e dell’attività ispettiva, auspichiamo che il nuovo responsabile dell’INL l’ex magistrato di Cassazione Bruno Giordano, possa adoperarsi affinché la situazione migliori, nonché nel rafforzamento di azioni mirate alla formazione dei lavoratori cominciando dal mondo della scuola, come facciamo noi da oltre 20 anni”.
