FORNI (ANMIL): AL PRESIDENTE MATTARELLA E AL MINISTRO ORLANDO CHIEDIAMO DI RICONOSCERE IL NOSTRO RUOLO NELLA LOTTA AGLI INFORTUNI
Roma, 5 agosto 2021 – “Perdere una madre a soli 4 anni, perdere una compagna di vita prossima ad essere sposata per la mancanza di sicurezza sul lavoro è un dramma inaccettabile – dichiara il Presidente nazionale ANMIL (Associazione fra Lavoratori Mutilati e Invalidi del Lavoro) Zoello Forni, fortemente commosso per la tragedia e colpito da vicino in quanto modenese – e davanti all’incidente che ha stroncato l’altro ieri la vita di Laila El Harim, di soli 40 anni, non possiamo restare inermi”.
“Siamo grati al Presidente della Repubblica che ha chiamato ieri il Ministro del Lavoro per chiedere riscontro sul fenomeno infortunistico e per avere informazioni sulle iniziative adottate dal Ministero per contrastare gli infortuni sul lavoro – aggiunge il Presidente Forni – e proprio grazie anche all’intervento del Presidente della Repubblica finalmente la stampa si è risvegliata e i grandi media si sono accorti che dietro i numeri di questo fenomeno ci sono persone, famiglie, storie di ordinario dolore a cui per troppi anni non si è dato un ascolto ed uno spazio di cronaca dignitoso, mentre siamo pienamente convinti che il potente ruolo sociale dei media sull’informazione di tutti possa determinare un cambiamento”.
“Con il Ministro del Lavoro Andrea Orlando, che ha già dimostrato una forte sensibilità su questo tema, rafforzeremo ulteriormente l’impegno sul fronte della prevenzione e della tutela. Ma chiediamo che il nostro ruolo non sia relegato ai margini di una battaglia così importante e verso la quale in quasi 80 anni di vita abbiamo dimostrato di saper dare un forte contributo come dimostrano le nostre campagne, l’impegno di una web radio, Radio ANMIL Network, che da due anni trasmette quotidianamente due ore di trasmissioni in diretta portando ogni giorno a confronto esperti, professionisti, vittime del lavoro, rappresentanti istituzionali e delle massime organizzazioni in materia con le sole nostre risorse che vengono dalle quote dei nostri iscritti. La sicurezza sul lavoro – conclude Forni – deve davvero rappresentare la vera rinascita di questo Paese e noi vogliamo esserne protagonisti, ma non come vittime!”.
