“Non possiamo che sottoscrivere le parole del Ministro sulla necessità di intervenire prima di tutto sullo sviluppo di una vera cultura della sicurezza – prosegue Bettoni – su una migliore informazione e formazione, sia dei datori di lavoro che dei lavoratori, sulla valorizzazione e sul sostegno di quelle realtà aziendali che investono in sicurezza e che fanno della tutela dei propri dipendenti un obiettivo pari al profitto e alla crescita economica, perché siamo convinti che la strategia migliore, a lungo termine, sia quella dell’interiorizzazione della cultura della sicurezza, affinché il rispetto delle regole non sia vissuto come un mero adempimento burocratico, ma come una condotta che spontaneamente si sceglie di adottare nel rispetto della salute e della vita, dal momento che gli infortuni colpiscono tutti, dai lavoratori più giovani a quelli più anziani ed esperti”.
“È vero, come afferma il Ministro, che la nostra normativa in materia è precisa e completa – prosegue il Presidente dell’ANMIL – ma senza una solida sensibilizzazione di aziende e lavoratori gli incidenti continueranno purtroppo a verificarsi. Per questo diventa fondamentale investire nella formazione, come prospettato dal Ministro, già a partire dalle scuole, nelle quali l’ANMIL stessa è impegnata da decenni in progetti di divulgazione della cultura della sicurezza tra gli studenti”.
“Condividiamo inoltre l’urgenza di dare maggiore incisività all’apparato ispettivo, che deve vigilare sul rispetto delle regole e deve essere messo nelle condizioni di poter svolgere questo delicato compito nella maniera più capillare ed efficace possibile; riteniamo condivisibili e ambiziosi gli obiettivi del Ministero – conclude il Presidente dell’ANMIL – ma ora ci auguriamo che si lavori effettivamente per raggiungerli e che a tutti i livelli di responsabilità si collabori affinché le tragedie quotidiane a cui stiamo assistendo possano finalmente interrompersi ”.
