Roma, 31 agosto 2020 – Il nuovo Quaderno Inail, realizzato insieme a Sapienza Università di Roma, Vigili del Fuoco e Consiglio nazionale degli ingegneri, è interamente dedicato al capitolo S.4 del Codice di prevenzione incendi, relativo all’esodo. All’interno del corpo del testo viene affrontato l’importante tema di come garantire l’incolumità degli alunni e dei docenti di una scuola, del personale di un ospedale, degli occupanti di uffici, ospedali o autorimesse in caso di incendio.
Obiettivo del volume sulla progettazione “esodo” è dunque quello di inquadrare analiticamente tutte le azioni di messa in sicurezza del sistema di fuga. Azioni da compiere facendo in modo che gli occupanti di un’attività possano raggiungere un luogo sicuro e permanervi, autonomamente o con assistenza, prima che l’incendio si propaghi ulteriormente determinando condizioni di incapacità operativa degli spazi. Nello specifico, all’interno della pubblicazione sono evidenziate le varie modalità previste per l’esodo e il comportamento umano. Ad esempio, si parla di “esodo simultaneo”, si distingue quello “per fasi”, che viene attuato in edifici molto alti o in multisale, si specifica quello “orizzontale progressivo”, tipico dei reparti di degenza negli ospedali, e si parla di “protezione sul posto”, che si può ipotizzare in alcune attività particolari.
