Se la salute della cultura in Italia si misurasse dal numero di festival, incontri letterari, happening musicali, dibattiti, organizzati soprattutto nel periodo estivo, non potremmo che rallegrarci. Da diversi anni tantissime manifestazioni punteggiano il territorio nazionale; la loro dimensione conviviale, unita al portarci a riflettere fuori casa, gomito a gomito con gli altri, rende più facile la fruizione anche di argomenti difficili e ci aiutano nella lettura di fenomeni complessi e attuali come l’immigrazione, l’accoglienza, la contaminazione come strumento per esplorare nuove forme di comunità. Sono proprio questi i temi che caratterizzano tre festival “sociali” da non perdere.
Tra le iniziative, Voci per la libertà, il festival musicale dedicato ai diritti umani che dal 18 al 21 luglio porterà a Rosolina Mare in provincia di Rovigo artisti emergenti e grandi big della musica italiana al fianco di Amnesty International. Lo slogan di quest’anno ‘Sui diritti umani non si torna indietro’ è legato alla campagna di Amnesty a cui sono collegate diverse iniziative. Collegato alla manifestazione è anche il progetto Hatemeter che ha lo scopo di accrescere le conoscenze sull’incitamento all’odio soprattutto nei confronti degli islamici e che coinvolge diverse associazioni e Ong europee”.
