Roma, 25 Novembre 2020 – I contagi sul lavoro da Covid-19 denunciati all’Istituto al 31 ottobre sono 66.781, pari al 15,8% del complesso delle denunce pervenute dall’inizio dell’anno.
L’analisi territoriale continua a sottolineare che più della metà delle denunce dei contagi verificatisi sul lavoro fa riferimento al Nord-Ovest (53,1%), seguito da Nord-Est (22,3%), Centro (13,2%), Sud (8,3%) e Isole (3,1%).
Concentrando invece l’analisi esclusivamente sui decessi (332 in totale, 13 in più rispetto al monitoraggio precedente e pari a circa un terzo del totale dei decessi denunciati dall’inizio dell’anno) la percentuale del Nord-Ovest sale al 55,6%, mentre il Sud, con il 16,6% dei casi mortali denunciati, precede il Nord-Est (13,3%), il Centro (12,7%) e le Isole (1,8%). Con un terzo dei contagi denunciati (33,1%) e il 41,3% dei decessi, a livello regionale la Lombardia rimane stabilmente il territorio più colpito nel panorama nazionale.
Passando all’analisi differita per genere, quasi 7 contagiati sul lavoro su 10 riguardano lavoratrici donne, con un’età media di 47 anni per entrambi i sessi. I casi mortali, invece, sono concentrati soprattutto tra gli uomini (83,7%) e nelle fasce 50-64 anni (70,8%) e over 64 anni (19,0%), con un’età media dei deceduti più alta, pari a 59 anni.
Infine, l’analisi relativa ai settori più colpiti continua a vedere al primo posto quello della sanità e assistenza sociale, con il 69,8% delle denunce e il 21,6% dei casi mortali codificati, che precede l’amministrazione pubblica, in cui ricadono l’8,7% delle infezioni denunciate e il 10,2% dei decessi.
Il report in analisi sottolinea la recrudescenza delle denunce iniziata a partire dal mese di settembre, che hanno sfiorato i 1.700 casi, per arrivare al mese di ottobre nel quale la cosiddetta seconda ondata ha avuto un impatto significativo anche in ambito lavorativo, portando a quota 12mila le nuove denunce di infezione da Covid-19 di origine professionale.
