28 ottobre 2019 – E’ stato firmato lo scorso 18 ottobre un protocollo d’intesa tra Regione Siciliana con Unione petrolifera, Assopetroli, Faib Confesercenti e Figisc Confcommercio, grazie al quale gli automobilisti disabili che presentano sensibili limitazioni dell’autonomia motoria potranno ricevere, nell’isola, il rifornimento da parte degli addetti, beneficiando delle tariffe scontate del self-service. La convenzione impegna pertanto le associazioni dei gestori e dei titolari di autorizzazione operanti nella settore della vendita dei carburanti firmatarie ad assicurare agli automobilisti con gravi disabilità motorie negli impianti stradali di distribuzione carburante, dotati sia di modalità servito che di modalità self service, l’assistenza del personale per il rifornimento del carburante anche presso le colonnine di distribuzione adibite al self-service, usufruendo delle condizioni economiche previste per tale sistema di rifornimento. Le associazioni – si legge nella nota della Regione Siciliana – forniranno ai dipartimenti regionali delle Attività produttive e delle Politiche Sociali gli elenchi degli associati aderenti al Protocollo di intesa per dare massima visibilità all’iniziativa.
