“Purtroppo non possono bilanciare positivamente la situazione i dati sulla diminuzione delle denunce di infortunio – aggiunge il Presidente Forni – considerando che, nel solo mese di gennaio 2020, sono state 46.483, ovvero 1.400 casi (-3,0%) in meno rispetto alle 47.908 del mese di gennaio dello scorso anno, quando ci sono 52 famiglie, ovvero ben 8 in più del 2020, che piangono la perdita dei loro congiunti”.
“Noi che raccogliamo da oltre 10 anni le dinamiche degli infortuni per darne notizia sul nostro sito, continuiamo ad assistere con profondo sgomento a tragedie sempre prevedibili e ingiustificate – commenta il Presidente dell’ANMIL – e i numeri pubblicati oggi dell’Istituto dimostrano quanto sia ancora lontana l’era della sicurezza negli ambienti di lavoro”.
“La lunga serie di eventi drammatici che sta continuando ad insanguinare le più svariate aree d’Italia – continua Forni – deve finire: la mancanza di verifiche tecniche nella costruzione e manutenzione delle infrastrutture, la scarsa adozione di misure collettive ed individuali di protezione e la carenza di ispezioni e controlli nei luoghi di lavoro, stanno generando una situazione di fronte alla quale non è possibile restare indifferenti e ci aspettiamo segnali importanti dal Governo in tema di investimenti per realizzare efficaci politiche di contrasto a questo fenomeno”.
