Il Ministro per la Famiglia e le Disabilità Lorenzo Fontana vuole esportare il modello Verona e quello Veneto – dove il progetto è già attivo – all’intero territorio nazionale e, per farlo, ha scritto nelle scorse settimane al Ministro Danilo Toninelli, che – come delegato ai trasporti – ha competenza specifica in materia. A seguito della lettera è stata convocata, il 27 giugno, una prima riunione, a cui ha partecipato, come delegato Anci, il comandante della polizia municipale di Verona Luigi Altamura, che ha portato l’esperienza e le buone prassi del Comune scaligero.
“Il modello veronese e veneto contribuirà a ridurre il numero di ‘furbetti’ che usano pass intestati a deceduti o pass scaduti – spiega il Comandante -. Una banca dati unica, e nel pieno rispetto della privacy, consentirà di garantire e di tutelare le persone con disabilità, che hanno diritto al contrassegno. Sono soddisfatto dell’interesse emerso per questo progetto e della sensibilità del ministro Fontana. Grazie a questo impegno, con il lavoro di squadra, si potrà esportare il modello Verona, già sperimentato con ottimi riscontri e grande successo”.
